TFE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Online Course
Terms & Conditions
1. Provider and course
The online training is provided by Training for Electricians (TFE). Your purchase provides access to TFE’s 18th Edition Wiring Regulations online training and the associated learning and practice resources made available within that course.
2. Access period
Access lasts for 12 months from activation following successful payment. At the end of that period access may expire unless an extension or new access period is purchased or agreed with TFE. Payment confirmation is separate from activation; the checkout return page does not itself activate access.
3. Personal use and security
Access is for the registered purchaser only. Do not share your login or allow another person to use your course access. TFE may apply reasonable account, device and security controls to protect the course and prevent account sharing. These terms do not state that any particular device limit is currently operational.
4. Course materials and acceptable use
Materials are provided for your personal study. Intellectual property rights remain with TFE or the relevant rights holders. Except where permitted by law, you must not copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell or make course materials available to others. Do not misuse the platform, interfere with its operation or attempt unauthorised access.
TFE may reasonably restrict or suspend access where necessary to investigate or address misuse, account sharing or security risks. Where appropriate, TFE will explain the reason and give an opportunity to resolve the issue. This does not remove your statutory rights.
5. Assessment and qualifications
TFE designs and delivers this e-learning course. City & Guilds does not author the TFE e-learning content. A regulated assessment or examination is separate: eligibility, booking conditions, fees and the applicable awarding organisation’s rules may apply. Course completion does not guarantee an examination result. You are responsible for completing your study and assessment preparation.
6. Technical requirements and updates
You need a suitable internet connection and a compatible device and browser. TFE may carry out reasonable maintenance and update content to reflect regulatory, educational or technical requirements. Changes will not remove your statutory rights or unfairly reduce the course you purchased.
7. Payment
The course price is displayed before payment. Payment is due through TFE’s approved Stripe checkout as a one-time payment. There is no automatic renewal or instalment arrangement under this purchase.
8. Cancellation, digital access and refunds
Statutory cancellation rights may apply, including a 14-day cancellation period where required by UK consumer law. If you request digital content to begin during that period, additional express consent and acknowledgement may be required before supply starts. Accepting these general terms does not, by itself, waive all cancellation or refund rights.
Cancellation and refund requests are subject to applicable UK consumer law and any specific cancellation information presented during purchase. There is no blanket “no refunds” rule. Rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming digital content or services are unaffected.
9. Contact
For course, activation, cancellation or refund enquiries, contact Training for Electricians through your existing TFE training-team contact or the contact details provided in your purchase correspondence. Include your name and purchase reference; never send your password or full card details.
10. Law and consumer rights
Applicable UK consumer law applies. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or prevents you using a court with jurisdiction where you live. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply insofar as lawful.
